Please be aware, there are companies that are collecting at the door, who give the impression that they are charities, but they are not! It is very easy to check the authenticity of a charity, either by a search facility on the home page of its website www.charity-commission.gov.uk or by telephone. For details of Neighbourhood Panel meetings and the name of your Neighbourhood Specialist Officer, check the Surrey Police Website on :- www.surrey.police.uk or call 0845 125 2222. |
